All instruments and vocals by The Lone Cadaver except where noted

Megon McDonough

My fabulous new guest vocalist -- Chicago Cadaverette Megon McDonough

The Keepsake Cover

And in case you were wondering, this is the "Keepsake" cover (pre-name change)

The Track List:

THE WHISTLING CADAVER SONG (Kevin Woller & Richard Wynne)
Lyrics by Kevin From Lawton and music by the Farout Bassist. All instruments
and the vocal are first takes. That’s why it sounds that way.

I CAN'T LET GO (Taylor & Gorgoni) Vocals: Megon McDonough
My favorite Hollies song. I've always loved their simple guitar-bass-percussion arrangements.

NOW AND THEN (Ray Davies)
My favorite Kinks song, from a sadly overlooked album called "UK Jive."

THE JURASSIC PARK PIANO CONCERTO, FIRST MOVEMENT (John Williams)
My favorite soundtrack music, done my way.

STARS (Dan Fogelberg) Vocals: Megon McDonough
One of the first songs I ever heard Meg sing -- way back in 1973 on her "Keepsake"
album. I've wanted to play it with her ever since. This was recorded live.

REYNARDINE (traditional) Vocals: Debi Smith
Reworked and remixed from the "Fully Evacuated" album.

BACK STREET LUV (Sonja Kristina, Darryl Way & Ian Eyre) Vocals: Sonja Kristina
Reworked and remixed from the "Fully Evacuated" album.

THE GIRL ON THE KEEPSAKE COVER (Richard Wynne)
A song I started in 1973 and finally finished last year. Thanks for all the wonderful music, Meg!

THE SANDS OF TIME (Jennifer Cutting) Vocals: Megon McDonough
Jennifer Cutting is an extraordinarily talented songwriter and keyboard player
from Maryland. She was a founder of the fabulous group, The New St. George.

SEA AND SAND (Pete Townshend)
One of my favorite Who tunes from "Quadrophenia,"
done sort of acoustically. Gotta love that bass part.

TED END (John Entwistle) Vocals: Debi Smith
Reworked and remixed from the "Fully Evacuated" album.

AFTER THE FACT (John Wesley Harding)
Written by one of the most talented singer-songwriters I've ever heard. Percussion
by East Coast CadaverettesAmy Christianson, Nancy Dameron & Debi Wynne.

THE SONG IS OVER (Pete Townshend) Vocals: Megon McDonough
The beautiful "Lifehouse" finale from "Who's Next."

FULL TIME WOMAN (Tager - Travis) Vocals: Sonja Kristina
Reworked and remixed from the "Fully Evacuated" album.

WHEN A BLIND MAN CRIES (Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord & Paice)
A great bluesy Deep Purple B-side. The Aardvarks used
to perform this as a medley with "Child in Time."

MAYBE I'M A LEO (Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord & Paice) Vocals: Ron Whittington
The first performance of The Aardvarks since 1990!
Ron Whittington channels Ian Gillan on this tune from "Machine Head."

AM I REALLY LOSING YOU? (Nick Barrett)
A lovely little toon by a great little progressive rock band from England called Pendragon.

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW (Arlen & Harburg) Vocals: Megon McDonough
In memory of my mom. Recorded live.

CONTINUING DISCLAIMER: No one in their right mind ever said I could sing.

Cover model: Fluffy

Recorded in the darkest, scariest corner of Cadaver Studios on a
Korg D1600 16-track digital recorder, April 2002 - October 2004.

The Lone Cadaver uses Rickenbacker, Fender & Martin basses, Ovation, Gibson & Takamine guitars, Korg
keyboards, Shure microphones, and Rotosound, Gibson and Martin strings. Still no word
from the companies about subsidies, though. Probably got lost in the mail.

Continuing thanks and much love to East Coast Cadaverette Debi Smith,
London Cadaverette Sonja Kristina, Flort Claulding and all
good little Cadavers, Wholigans & Curved Airheads everywhere.
